Nine of the fifteen services surveyed describe their method as AI or automated software. Their public review records are, on average, considerably worse than the handful using human outreach.
“AI” in this market usually describes targeting — choosing which accounts to interact with — rather than the interaction itself, which is typically automated follow, unfollow, like and story-view actions performed from your account.
What the numbers show
- Automated services cluster lower. The services describing automated methods hold the majority of the sub-3.0 ratings in the category.
- The complaints are consistent. Account warnings, suspensions and bot-follower influxes recur specifically in the records of automated tools.
- Speed is the trade. Automation runs at machine pace, which is what produces both the fast initial numbers and the detection risk.
- Human outreach costs more. Manual services start around $99/month against $19 for automated tools, because a person is doing the work.
